Diana Liu

President, Cansbridge Capital Corp

Ms. Diana Liu is the President of the firm since its inception.

She is currently a Director of AutoChina International (Nasdaq: AUTC), having co-founded its predecessor Spring Creek Acquisition and serves on its Audit Committee. Ms. Liu was instrumental in the merger of the two companies and all subsequent strategic initiatives, including its prospectus filings, shelf-registration, $70M financing (spring, 2010), and IR/PR.

Prior to founding Cansbridge Capital, Ms. Liu was the founding Director and Executive Vice President of PSC Polaris Securities, a subsidiary of Taiwan’s third largest brokerage company where she specialized in investment banking for five years. Prior to that, she was with Royal Trust (later acquired by Royal Bank, Canada’s largest financial institution) in global private banking, and CIBC Asset Management.

Ms. Liu was a founding Director of Monte Jade Science and Technology (Western Canada) Association where she served as its third term Chairman; she was later elected as the Vice Chair of Monte Jade (Global) Association. During her tenure there, she was widely recognized as being instrumental in putting the association on the map with her energy, creativity and connections. She created and organized the first Pacific Northwest Venture Capital Forum and the Entrepreneur Workshop.

She served on the Goh Ballet Society’s Board of Directors for three years and assisted the growth and operations of the widely-respected academy in Vancouver. She was also a Director of Bayspec, an optical components company in the Silicon Valley for five years.

Ms. Liu currently serves on the Board of the Asia Pacific Foundation, an act of Canadian Parliament and serves in its Executive Committee and various committees (Investment Committee Chair, 2005-08; Compensation Committee Chair, 2009-Present).
